What happens when the version of you that’s always lived inside finally gets a chance to be seen?

That’s the heart of Come As You Are, a new docuseries I created to spotlight real LGBTQ+ stories—especially from those who came out later in life. These stories are about identity, healing, courage, and the power of finally becoming who you’ve always been.

And today, I’m honored to share our very first episode with you.

Watch Myra’s Story:

In this debut episode, we meet Myra—a proud Club LILLES member—who shares her journey of being forced out of the closet and the years that followed as she began to rebuild a life that felt more honest, more empowered, and more hers.

We also walk through a transformation that helped her finally see herself reflected in the mirror—on her own terms.

But let me be clear: this isn’t about a haircut or a suit.
This is about visibility. This is about truth. This is about the moment when you stop hiding and start living.

Whether you’ve been out for decades or you’re still figuring out what it all means, I hope Myra’s story reminds you that it’s never too late to come home to yourself.

Come as you are. Stay as long as you need.

If this story speaks to you, share it with someone who needs to hear it. And if you have a story of your own you’d like to tell in a future episode, reach out—I’d love to hear from you.

With love,
Jaime
