Feeling better doesn’t always mean feeling happier. This one shocked me. I thought healing would feel light and freeing right away… but a lot of the time, it felt heavy. Like grief. Like anger. Like exhaustion. And that’s because healing often involves actually feeling the things you’ve been avoiding for years. It’s not always a high-vibe experience. But that doesn’t mean it’s not working—it means it is.3. You’re not broken. The patterns you’re trying to change? They started as protection. People-pleasing, shutting down, over-functioning—those were survival tools. You did what you had to do to stay safe. But now? You get to choose differently.
